Women’s Training Programs - August-September 2024

I have really missed training now that I’m in adult soccer and only play games so these sessions are a great way to brush up on skills and learn new ones in a fun environment. ASTRA Beginner-Intermediate Skills (Adult - Women) - August - September 2024

NOTE - registration deadline is this Sunday, August 18th Midnight

Are you looking to have some fun, challenge your soccer mind, and get ready for the upcoming Indoor season? ASTRA is offering 5 Beginner-Intermediate Skills sessions coached by certified ASTRA coaches for you! 

NOTE - if we receive enough players we will try to run two groups within this session (i.e. Beginner, Intermediate). We would need at least 8 beginners and 8 intermediate level players in each group to run separate groups.

Beginner-Intermediate Skills Sessions:

  • Do you want to learn how to:

    • work on your ball mastery (ball control), dribbling, shooting etc.

    • be aware of your positioning on the field?

    • be aware of passing lanes and execute different passing options?

    • work on taking on players confidently in 1 v 1, 2 v 1, 2 v 2, and small sided situations?

    • work on defending effectively in 1 v 1, 2 v 1, 2 v 2, and small sided situations?

Then the Beginner-Intermediate Skills Sessions are for you!

Day: Mondays (5 weeks)

Time: 8:00 - 9:15 pm

Program Dates: August 19, 26, September 2, 9, 16

Where: ASTRA Training Centre - 630 - 56th Street East, Saskatoon

*Registration Deadline - Sunday, August 18th, 2024 midnight. Please note we need a minimum of 8 registrants for this to go!

Cost: $105.00

 ASTRA Advanced Skills (Adult - Women) - August - September 2024

NOTE - registration deadline is Wednesday, August 21st Midnight

Are you looking to have some fun, return to a soccer training environment, challenge your soccer mind, and prepare for the upcoming indoor season? ASTRA is offering 5 Advanced Skills sessions coached by certified ASTRA coaches for you! These sessions are geared towards experienced players looking for a faster paced session with a bit more intensity.

Advanced Skills Sessions:

  • Do you want to continue to work on:

    • ball mastery (ball control) under pressure, dribbling, shooting?

    • spatial awareness and ball distribution in 1v1, 2v1, 2v2 and small sided situations?

    • Attacking skills in 1 v 1, 2 v 1, 2 v 2, and small sided situations?

    • defending effectively in 1 v 1, 2 v 1, 2 v 2, and small sided situations?

Then the Advanced Skills Sessions are for you!

Day: Thursdays (5 weeks)

Time: 8:00 - 9:15 pm

Program Dates: August 22, 29, September 5, 12, 19

Where: ASTRA Training Centre - 630 - 56th Street East, Saskatoon

  • Click on the 'Register' button on the following ASTRA webpage; ASTRA Women's Training Programs or the 'Login' button (top right) on the ASTRA Homepage; ASTRA Soccer Academy - Helping You Reach Your Full Potential

  • Login to your RAMP account using the same email and password (if you have ever used RAMP previously)

  • If you are new to RAMP then click on 'Don't have an account? Create one Here' on the RAMP login page

  • Once logged in, then click on 'Participant - register as a participant'

  • 'Choose a season' - 2024 Outdoor Season

  • 'Choose Account Member to Register as a Participant' - add or click' on an existing participant

  • 'Choose a division' - Adult Women

  • Then click on the package that you want to register for 'ASTRA Beginner-Intermediate Skills (Adult - Women) - August - September 2024' or 'ASTRA Advanced Skills (Adult - Women) - August - September 2024

  • Then click 'Continue' and finish the registration process

  • Ensure you click on 'Submit' at the end of completing the registration process

  • You should see a confirmation of registration page and receive a confirmation of registration email as well.

Fees - full program fees due within 24 hours of registration either online through RAMP by credit card, offline by e-transfer to chris@astrasoccer.ca. If paying by cheque or cash, please contact chris@astrasoccer.ca for times when staff are available to receive that form of payment. Coaches will not accept fees.
